Asymmetries and Rotation - 3 CEC's Amy Taylor Alpers and Kelli Burkhalter Hutchins

Amy and Kelli have been working together, as well as teaching each other, at The Pilates Center for nearly 20 years now. Both have scoliosis and each has struggled to manage it in life and Pilates. Rotation exercises can be some of the most challenging for this condition. And as we all have some level of imbalance in our bodies, many teachers and clients feel this way as well. Each part of the spine can seem to have a mind of its own. Exercises such as Single Leg Circe, Saw, Corkscrew etc., can make a person feel like they have two different bodies from right to left.

In this 3 hour workshop Kelli and Amy will discuss and explore their own unique and individual journeys thorough this issue. You’ll get two workshops in one as both will offer their own personal solutions as well as help you explore yours, and help you facilitate working with your clients.
